Rend Lake College seeks a full-time ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF THE RLC FOUNDATION. This individual will act as first-line representative and liaison for the Foundation CEO to all internal and external constituents; manage and coordinate the Student Scholarship Program by ensuring compliance with scholarship criteria and Foundation policies, including that of scholarship applications and announcements with district high school guidance counselors, donors and recipients, scholarship selection processes with the selection committee, payment records by donors, correspondence with donors and scholarship recipients, and contact with scholarship recipients to ensure compliance with scholarship requirements; compose and assist with distribution of correspondence with donors and constituents concerning scholarships, solicitations, special event mailings and other development activities; create and manage up-to-date Foundation marketing and promotional meterials including the RLCF website and social media; coordinate and execute all Foundation special events; coordinate alumni communication and cultivation; assist with coordination of Foundation Board of Directors meetings; compile departmental reports; and other duties as assigned. // Full-time, nontenure-track position.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Human Services, or related field from an accredited institution required.
  • Experience in fund development, office management, and event planning preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple projects on a regular basis, and be a self-starter.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to be creative, flexible, and effectively engage with students and donors required.
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge, PowerCAMPUS, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

Rend Lake College seeks a full-time PROGRAMMER / ANALYST to be a a key member of the applications development team responsible for the design, development and documentation of all college development solutions. The programmer / analyst will support, maintain, and enhance Rend Lake College’s Enterprise Resource Management System, related ancillary systems and third-party software; perform software upgrades, security control, system enhancements and system maintenance; perform standard maintenance procedures, apply patches and upgrades for Rend Lake College development applications; provide technical support for the design, creation and implementation of automated procedures and data-checking processes; assist with program documentation maintenance and data integrity validation; assist with research, selection and integration of third-party utilities that extend the functionality of the ERP system; maintain / assist with the Rend Lake College Learning Management System, including troubleshooting errors and integrating third-party applications; assist with technical maintenance of Rend Lake College Internet and Intranet web sites and integration of Content Management System into these sites; support the Rend Lake College SharePoint servers and ancillary utilities; monitor SQL Databases, fix SQL errors and expand databases as needed; create and maintain process and requirements documentation for departmental reference, and suggest policies and procedures as appropriate; and other duties as assigned. Limited night and weekend work is required. Full-time (50 week) nontenure-track position. 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Experience and excellent working knowledge of scripts, queries and stored procedures in MS SQL or related DBMS.
  • Experience working with MS SQL, SS reporting and integration services, with at least one year experience with MS SQL preferred.
  • Experience in a relational database client server environment.
  • Experience with developing for Ellucian's PowerCampus preferred.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Visual Studio.net, ASP.net, Ajax, C#, C++, JAVA, and / or MS Silverlight preferred.
  • Experience with web development using ASP.NET preferred.

  • Minimum three years of truck driving experience.
