Allied Health Entrance Exam Information
Associate Degree in Nursing Program and Radiologic Technology Program
**Please have a credit card available. Payment of $60 is required to schedule the exam.**

IMPORTANT: PLEASE SET UP YOUR PROCTOR U ACCOUNT AND REGISTER FOR YOUR TEST SESSION AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE THIS NOTIFICATION!
You can now schedule and pay for your HESI Admissions Assessment (HESI A2) Exam directly through ProctorU's website, which will walk you through the entire process itself.
Please Read and follow the below steps and instructions to get started with ProctorU.
STEP 1: Create an Elsevier Evolve account.
Use the following steps to create an Evolve account and register for HESI Student Access:
- Visit the Elsevier website linked here
- Choose: I am a student.
- Under the box that says HESI Secured Exams, click on the link Register for Results and Remediation.
- Click on the blue Register
- This will take you to My Cart. Click the blue Checkout/Redeem button at the bottom of the page. Now you must create an Evolve account or sign into an existing one. Note: If you do not already have one, your username will be auto generated and will be a combination of your first initial, your last name, and a series of numbers.
STEP 2: Create a ProctorU username and password
Click this link to head to the ProctorU account registration page
- For your Institution, please select “**Elsevier – HESI**”
- If you already have a ProctorU account, you will need to sign in here and then “add enrollment” from your profile > account settings and select “**Elsevier – HESI** for the Institution. Then update account.
STEP 3: Register and pay for your Admission Exam at ProctorU’s site.
- Once logged in, they can “Schedule A New Session”
- Institution “Elsevier – HESI”
- Term: Rend Lake College
- Select your exam: Either Nursing or Rad/Med Assist
- Institution “Elsevier – HESI”
- This will take you to a screen to select to schedule on demand or schedule for a later date
- Once scheduled, you’ll be prompted to confirm your exam and registration details and proceed to payment.
- Complete required fields required for payment authentication and select “Process Charge”
STEP 4: Apply to the program for you're testing for
- The application link can be found on the program's page on the RLC website.
- The nursing application and all accompanying transcripts are due on March 31, 2023.
- The radiology program and the medical assistant program application and all accompanying transcripts are due on May 1, 2023 by 11:59 pm.
ALL STUDENTS: IMPORTANT NOTES FOR TESTING:
- You’ll need a computer, webcam, microphone, and government ID to take this exam as your face and screen will be recorded during the exam, as well as providing proof of identity.
- You will be asked to show your entire testing space during the startup process which will take between 10-15 minutes and does not deduct against your actual exam time.
