About the event: On 10/14, Hayley Orendoff, LSCW from the Marion VA will set up an informational table in front of the Student Center from 12-2. Then, at 2, she will present on Intimate Partner Violence in the PDA. Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) is a serious, preventable public health problem that affects millions of Americans. The term “Intimate Partner Violence” describes physical violence, sexual violence, stalking or psychological harm caused by a current or former partner. Join us for a presentation on IPV in relation to our Veteran population to further explore the impact on them and their families, consideration that effect IPV statistics along with resources and interventions.

The presentation will last apx. 45 mins. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend. October is Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence Awareness Month.
