Rend Lake College is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant of Curriculum and Instruction. The Executive Assistant of Curriculum and Instruction provides high-level administrative and operational support to the executive leadership. This role is responsible for curriculum management processes, academic council support, institutional reporting, faculty documentation, and coordination of assigned executive leadership projects while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with college, state, and accreditation requirements.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•                     Maintain a general knowledge of RLC programs, policies, procedures and personnel.
•                     Maintain confidentiality.
•                     Schedule meetings, send invitations, take, and distribute minutes as requested.
•                     Serve as recording secretary and scheduler for Academic Council and its five standing committees.
•                     Maintain course/curriculum files, make submissions to ICCB, and inform appropriate college personnel of                        course/curriculum changes including the Registrar, HLC ALO, Financial Aid, and Public Information.
•                     Enter new courses/curriculum and update existing data in the college ERP system.
•                     Maintain course fees list and submit requested changes for board packet.
•                     Actively participate in and assist with the coordination and set-up of department activities, such as In-                                Service, Faculty Orientation, Student Success Day, and Commencement.
•                     Develop, coordinate, and process Class Climate evaluations for faculty and department related events.
•                     Answer phone and email, receive visitors, open and distribute mail, copy materials, maintain filing system,                          and schedule appointments for appropriate staff.
•                     Draft routine correspondence, prepare requisitions, and type other materials as directed.
•                     Reconcile department records with financial reports.
•                     Maintain a database of professional development requests, faculty qualifications, syllabi, credit hour                                  compliances, program changes, and articulated courses.
•                     Maintain a database of online and hybrid course development approvals and process payment requests.
•                     Maintain evaluation schedules for faculty.
•                     Create, maintain, and distribute electronic forms as requested.
 
50 week, non-tenure track position.
