INA, Ill. (Sept. 3, 2015) - Rend Lake College is looking for merchants and artists to sell unique and distinctive items at the second annual Warrior Fest, set for 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, on the Ina campus.

The flea market and vendor fair will be held in the west parking lot, between a number of family-friendly activities at the RLC Foundation Children’s Center and an annual Car Show, both of which bring hundreds of locals to RLC’s campus during Warrior Fest.

Whitney Schulte, event organizer, said almost anything goes when it comes to what vendors and artists can bring to Warrior Fest.

“This is a flea market and craft fair that can include basically everything, from handmade items to repurposed furniture to miscellaneous merchandise and crafts,” said Schulte. “Between all of the people who attend Warrior Fest and the Fall Festival in Ina, there will be a good crowd, and the vendors will be right in the middle of it all.”

Food, beverages, fireworks, offensive videos or photos, illegal items, firearms, items that infringe upon registered trademarks, or anything that would harm RLC’s property or reputation are prohibited.

Be a part of this campus-wide event. Spots for the flea market and vendor fair cost $10 each for a 12-by-12 foot space. Registration forms can be picked up at the RLC MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon or the RLC Community and Corporate Education Division in Ina, and can also be sent via email.
