Franke earns top spot in 37th annual RLC Welding Contest

INA, Ill. (April 9, 2019) - Twenty-three local high school students competed in Rend Lake College's 37th Annual Welding Contest, with ten scoring high enough to receive prizes. A total of $6,500 in Academic Awards were given to the top five students to attend RLC's program in the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. In addition to the Academic Awards, winners received gloves, with first place also receiving a Miller Welding Helmet thanks in large part to donations from ILMO Products.
