INA, Ill. (Nov. 22, 2013) - A majority of the tutoring sessions for general education courses are now found under one roof: the North Oasis 101. The Math Lab, formerly in the Academic Building room 202, and the Writing Center, formerly in the North Oasis room 138, are officially located in one room.
The Writing Center, a new feature this year for students, will continue to have the same schedule. The Writing Center is open on the following days and times: Monday 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.; Tuesday 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.; Wednesday 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.; and Friday 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Students need to make an appointment in the Writing Center to ensure an instructor is present. The Math Lab will also continue to have the same hours at the new location: Monday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Tuesday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Friday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome during these times.
