Meet RLC's 2015 Homecoming Court

INA, Ill. (Feb. 4, 2015) - Homecoming is next Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Rend Lake College. The celebration will include basketball games, a dance and the crowning of the college's king and queen.

This year's court is made up of nine candidates for queen and eight for king. RLC students can cast votes, Homecoming day, in the Student Center.

RLC HOMECOMING COURT - Rend Lake College students will be introduced during halftime of the men's basketball game on Feb. 11 as part of Homecoming 2015 celebrations. A king and queen will be crowned during the coronation and a dance will take place after the game. Queen candidates, FROM LEFT, are Rowdee Sanders (Carterville), Denise Bruns (Pinckneyville), Deborah Loucks (Sesser), Brooke Docherty (Benton), Sarah Carlson (Pinckneyville), Danara Jones (Scheller), Jennifer Carroll (Woodlawn) and Claire Pytlinski (Waltonville). King candidates, FROM LEFT, are Matt Loucks (Sesser), Dustin May (Woodlawn), Tyler Crawford (Dix), Richard Clemons (Louisville), Dallas Adkins (Louisville), Eli Liske (Okawville) and Nathan Liszewski (Waltonville). Up for queen are Sarah Carlson, a golfer from Pinckneyville; Rowdee Sanders, a volleyball player from Carterville; Jennifer Carroll, a nursing club member from Woodlawn, Brooke Docherty, a STARS student from Benton; Claire Pytlinski, a Collegiate FFA member from Waltonville; Denise Bruns, a Radiologic Technology Club member from Pinckneyville ; Danara Jones, a cheerleader from Scheller; Deborah Loucks, a Thespians Club member from Sesser; and Abbie Braden, a Student Ambassador from McLeansboro.  

Contestants for king are Nathan Liszewski, a Nursing Club member from Waltonville; Dallas Adkins, a baseball player from Louisville; Tierre Harris, a STARS student from Mt. Vernon; Richard Clemons, a basketball player from Louisville; Eli Liske, Student Trustee and a Collegiate FFA member from Okawville; Dustin May, a Radiologic Technology Club member from Woodlawn; Tyler Crawford, a cheerleader from Dix; and Matt Loucks, a Thespians Club member from Sesser.

The Warriors and Lady Warriors will host Wabash Valley for Homecoming. The women's game will tip off at 5 p.m., followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m. Coronation will take place during halftime of the men's game. 

The Homecoming Dance will be held after the game until 11 p.m. in the Aquatics Center Lobby.
