INA, Ill. (March 21, 207) - Members of the American Coal Company of Galatia placed first unanimously today during the 2017 Brookwood-Sago Mine Rescue Contest. Pictured with their first place trophy is, FRONT ROW, FROM LEFT, Cody Shockley, Joe Myers, Ryan Darnell, and James Hawkins; BACK ROW, Zach Schimpf, Kyle Wilkerson, Scott Webb, and Billy Agin. The contest was sponsored by Rend Lake College, thanks to a recent Brookwood-Sago grant specifically geared toward providing training to mine rescue officials and mine rescue teams.
