The next chance to start the tuition-free Basic Nurse Assistant course (CNA) is coming up March 15 at Rend Lake College.

This course is great for entering the workforce and vital to enter RLC's Associate Degree Nursing program that prepares you to become a registered nurse. Tuition for
this course is waived for in-district students. Only course and book fees must be paid. And right now, RLC is waiving its online fee.

The class begins March 15 and ends May 17. Students will attend virtually from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays using Zoom. Four in-person labs are also held, along with clinical training towards the end of the program. The labs will be scheduled in Mt. Vernon at the RLC MarketPlace.
