Just because you are away from the classroom doesn’t mean education has to be less impactful. Junior Achievement in Jefferson County, in partnership with Rend Lake College, is providing teachers and parents materials to use for remote learning during the ongoing shelter-in-place environment.

Junior Achievement’s goal is to give young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices. At this time, the organization is reminding communities that resources for K-12 students are available for at-home learning. These educational materials are designed for specific ages and are available to any interested teachers or parents. All materials are available at no cost.

Junior Achievement resources focus on financial literacy, work-readiness and entrepreneurship. And for high school students planning for their next step, there is a multitude of materials available to help map out their future college and career goals.
