No tuition increase for 2021-2022

INA, Ill. (Feb. 9, 2021)
The Rend Lake College Board of Trustees approved Tuesday night to keep tuition rates the same for 2021-2022.

It's the fifth-straight year RLC's in-district tuition rate has stayed $110 per credit hour. The rate is set for the Summer 2021, Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters. The out-of-district and out-of-state tuition rates will also remain the same. The summer 2021 schedule can be found on the college's website at rlc.edu/schedule.

Leaders said the decision was based on the college’s ability to maintain a strong financial position and meet its forecasted budgetary needs without an increase in tuition. The flat rate helps RLC remain competitive as one of the most affordable community colleges in the state.
