INA, IL (Oct 17, 2016) - The Rend Lake College Foundation Children’s Center’s continued excellence was recognized recently by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), granting the center another year of accreditation after reviewing the facility’s annual report. This decision extended the center’s accreditation to Oct. 1, 2017.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research.
NAEYC accreditation is the gold standard for early childhood programs across the country. Families of young children who attend NAEYC-accredited programs can be confident that they deliver the highest quality early care and education.
In addition to the NAEYC accreditation, the center also holds a Gold Circle of Quality from ExceleRate Illinois, a statewide program establishing standards for helping infants, toddlers and preschool age children develop intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.
