Put yourself in the driver’s seat of one of the fastest-growing industries in the world today with a number upcoming training events at Rend Lake College Murphy-Wall Pinckneyville campus.

Openings are available for interested students to receive hands-on training from experienced instructors in late model tractor-trailers.  The Feb. 10 permit class has already been filled, and there are limited seats available for the next course on March 1.

A new class starts every two to three weeks depending on enrollment.

The RLC Truck Driver Training Program has trained more than 1,200 drivers since 1990. This program is a perfect opportunity for anyone looking to take the wheel and control their own destiny. The low student-to-instructor ratio allows for more personalized attention.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of truck drivers is expected to grow over the next decade. As demands for goods increase, there will be an even greater need to keep the supply chains in motion.
