INA, Ill. (March 6, 2017) - Border Patrol Agents Nathan LeGendre, background, and Brett Laug, foreground, spoke to RLC's Criminal Justice students on Monday. The pair provided RLC students with information about the Border Patrol and how to apply. Both are seasoned agents for the Border Patrol stationed on the U. S. and Canada border. Together, they covered the many duties of a border patrolman and the career advancements for experienced agents. During their slideshow presentation, RLC students also learned about the financial and job security of the border patrol, as well as had any questions or concerned addressed. Ron Meek, Criminal Justice Professor, said he encourages students to also think outside of local government to explore the many options in the criminal justice field. He added the agents stopped by RLC because of the reputation for high quality of students who graduate.
