INA, Ill. (May 5, 2016) - The Pre-Kindergarten and Toddler students at the Rend Lake College Foundation Children's Center (RLCFCC) had the chance to learn about the holiday Cinco de Mayo this morning and participate in part of the traditional celebrations. With RLC Reference Librarian Beth Mandrell, the students learned about the culture surrounding the holiday during their weekly story time. Afterward, they each took turns working on the piñata to get to the goodies inside. Click on the images for larger views.

More photos of the event can be found at on the RLC Flickr account at www.flickr.com/photos/rendlakecollege.
