The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that employment of radiologic and MRI technologists will grow 7 percent over the next decade. This pace is faster than the average of all occupations.
The bureau also said as the population gets older, there is also an expectation that more medical conditions will need to have imagery to make important diagnoses.
