INA, IL (Nov. 5, 2021) -- Rend Lake College brought the fantasy world to life during the opening night of "The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe" in the RLC Theater.

The delightful show is based on the beloved C.S. Lewis story as heroes and villains fight over the control of Narnia. An evil White Witch has put an eternal winter curse over the land as a way to tighten her control. The discovery of a magical wardrobe leads a group of siblings fighting alongside Aslan and Company as they try to regain his right to the throne.

The performances continue this weekend with a couple of 7 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday and a matinee on Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. Reserve your seat by calling the RLC Box Office at (618) 437-5321, extension 1467.

The Pevensie children -- from left, Lucy (Heidi Carroll, Benton); Edmund (Zane Shukites, Christopher); Peter (Caleb Qualls, Sesser); and Susan (Emma Wisehart, Texico) -- discover a decree from the evil White Witch after arriving in Narnia. The siblings meet a colorful cast of characters as they find themselves in the middle of a power struggle between good and evil. (Click image for printable photo)

Aslan the Lion (Josh Nelson, Mt. Vernon) listens as the White Witch (Taylor Frank, Waltonville) attempts to bargain for a treasonous act during the RLC performance. (Click image for printable photo)
