INA, Ill. (January 30, 2023) — The Rend Lake College Thespians showcased their comedic skills in an entertaining night of impromptu skits and games last Thursday.
The audience laughed as the performers improvised, incorporating audience suggestions, unique stage directions, and even freezing to allow an audience member to take their place.
Tracey Webb, RLC theater professor and club sponsor, praised the troupe, saying "They were amazing! They brought so much humor to the stage and had everyone laughing."
"It was fantastic and everyone, not just club members, felt comfortable participating in the games and having fun," said Co-sponsor Taylor Wilburn. "The club did its job in offering students the chance to build self-confidence, make new friends, and be part of a fun community."
The Thespians meet regularly to hone their skills and perform throughout the year. All RLC students, regardless of major, are welcome to join.
