INA, IL (Nov. 28, 2021) - Does a career on 18-wheels appeal to you? Find out how you can get in the driver's seat and get started as Rend Lake College hosts a couple of truck driving career fairs.
The first career fair is set for Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.at the Murphy-Wall Pinckneyville campus. The next event will take place on Jan. 21 at the Rend Lake MarketPlace in Mt. Vernon, also from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Trucking companies from all around the area will be recruiting potential employees. Those who are planning to come out to the career fairs include:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of heavy and tractor-trailer truck drivers is expected to grow 6 percent over the next decade.
