Norfolk tells the tale of Brown, who escaped slavery to become a famed abolitionist, along with other astonishing stories of people finding their freedom. Norfolk won three Emmy awards as the host of the CBS TV Show “Gator Tales,” and he also hosted the Emmy-nominated series “Children’s Theater at Bobby’s House.” Both shows were based out of St. Louis and emphasized education, literacy and storytelling.

Students, staff, faculty and community members are all invited to attend the free program on the Ina Campus. The program at RLC is in conjunction with Black History Month. For more information on the event, contact Student Success Coordinator Sarah Draper at 618-437-5321 Ext. 1264 or [drapers@rlc.edu.](mailto:drapers@rlc.edu.)
