Pictures above are MVTHS students Amelia Lamont (left) and Calli Robinson (right), both incoming juniors, who participated in the Allied Health Pre-Apprenticeship Program at Rend Lake College in June 2023. During this Pre-Apprenticeship, students are taught college levels courses that prepare them for a future career in healthcare. Students were able to get a head start on their college education by earning 3.0 credit hours at no cost. This was possible through the funding provided by the PATH Grant, which supports and expands the opportunities for individuals in nursing and healthcare pathways to obtain credentials and degrees that allow them to enter and/or advance their careers in the healthcare industry.

The Allied Health Division offers training and education in a wide variety of healthcare professions, including CNA - Basic Nurse Assistant, Early Childhood Education, EMT - Paramedic, Nursing, Radiology and more! These programs aim to extend one's knowledge of different healthcare systems and trains their students with the appropriate skills to enter the healthcare industry.
