Rend Lake College seeks a full-time EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR to teach classes for the Community & Corporate Education Division at Rend Lake College. The successful candidate will be responsible for course planning and instruction in a classroom and lab setting. In addition, the faculty member is responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. // Full-time, 50-week, tenure-track position.

  • Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Master's Degree with 18 hours of graduate-level credit in the subject area required.
  • Minimum of two years experience teaching young children required.
  • In-depth knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices as defined by NAEYC and Gateways to Opportunity required.
  • Community college teaching experience preferred.
  • All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
  • Salary commensurate with education and experience.
  • Full benefits.
