Rend Lake College seeks a full-time GRAPHIC DESIGNER for the Marketing & Public Information Department. This individual will create graphics for print projects such as flyers, posters, postcards and various other materials for marketing, public relations and related projects; produce videos for the college website, social media and for marketing and other purposes, from videography through production; create content for the college’s social media platforms, website, digital display boards and other avenues; take photos at college events and of daily life and activities at the college for use in digital and print platforms; assist with content generation and maintenance on the college website; produce college publications such as the annual college catalog, class schedules, annual report, recruitment publications and others; generate designs for other items such as T-shirts, banners, wall graphics, and more as directed; follow, maintain and make recommendations regarding the college’s branding guidelines; provide creative and technical direction to other members of the Marketing & Public Information Department, and others as directed, regarding use of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, design techniques, and other information; come up with ideas for new initiatives for the Marketing & Public Information Department; recommend new avenues for reaching students, particularly via digital platforms and mobile devices; work with the Director of Marketing & Public Information in developing recommendations for the annual budget process; and other duties as assigned. // Full-time nontenure-track position.

QUALIFICATIONS
 
SALARY & BENEFITS
  • Salary: $29,000 - $32,000
  • Full benefits.
