Instructional Design & Assessment Specialist (Full Time)

Rend Lake College seeks a full-time Instructional Design & Assessment Specialist. This position will provide support and training to faculty and staff with technology-based projects and tools; develop, coordinate and deliver training sessions related to instructional technology; provide training in online course development, web-based instructional modules and teaching methods; provide Microsoft Office or other related trainings to faculty, staff and community partners. Monitor progress and prepare overview reports related to overall assessment including support and training.  //50 week,non-tenure

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution required, Master's degree preferred
  • Online teaching experience required
  • Experience training others in technical applications preferred
  • Strong organization skills required
  • Experience with assessment of student learning preferred
  • All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
SALARY & BENEFITS
  • $35,000-$45,000 annually commensurate with experience
  • Full benefits.
