We are looking for an experienced Center Director to oversee our program and supervise approximately 10 to 12 employees. In this position you will ensure that the daycare center is operating in accordance with company policies & procedures as well as complies with the Illinois state licensing standards.
- You will provide supervision, recruit, hire, train, coach, counsel, and develop staff. In addition, you will interact with children, staff, and parents establishing positive and professional communication at all levels.
- You will implement the One in Christ Curriculum and evaluate classroom programs, in addition to being a support to any classroom.
- You will aid in promoting the center within the community; and achieve profitability by enrolling the center to capacity. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multi-tasks, such as, create and maintain financial success, keep center expense within budget, and meet or exceed budgeted revenue, while completing all required office work.
You must be able to attend and complete all training and required classes necessary for the position. The candidate will schedule training classes for ongoing staff development and attend monthly board meetings.
Our program is centered on the total development of the child. It is based upon the foundations of Christian education and a child centered curriculum. Our prospective Director must be an outgoing team leader, who has a passion for child development.
Must have a minimal of an Associate’s Degree in ECE/CD. Bachelor degree in ECE or any related field with at least 27 credit hours of ECE/CD is highly preferred.
