INA, Ill. (September 19, 2025) — Applications for Rend Lake College’s Nursing and Radiologic Technology programs will open in October for the 2026-2027 academic year. These in-demand programs fill quickly, so prospective students are encouraged to prepare early. Don’t miss your chance to pursue a career in healthcare.
Students who were accepted into these competitive Allied Health programs began their classes on August 18. The Radiologic Technology and Nursing programs prepare students for roles in hospitals, clinics, medical offices, and more.
Future health care professionals interested in joining the next class should note that the application to apply for the 2026-2027 academic year will open in October 2025.
"Our Nursing and Radiology programs are competitive programs to get accepted into, which speaks to the quality of our instruction and the high demand for our graduates," said Dean of Allied Health Bria Robinson. "We encourage prospective students to prepare early. The application window for entering these programs in the Fall 2026 semester will open on October 1. The nursing application will close March 31. The radiology application will close May 1."

The HESI exam is an entrance exam required for RLC Allied Health programs as a part of the admissions criteria for acceptance.
