Veteran Services
The Veterans Coordinator at Rend Lake College is the liaison between the college and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This coordinator helps student veterans submit applications for military benefits and other financial aid, and officially certifies their enrollment to ensure they get timely payments.

Veteran Scholarship
The RLC Veteran Tuition Scholarship is for all Veterans or Service Members who no longer qualify, never qualified or have already used up their entire Federal/Illinois State VA Education Benefits. The student must be a current Illinois resident, have an Honorable Military Discharge Under Honorable Conditions, must present a VA Form DD214 or a NGB22 and not be eligible for any VA Federal or State Education Benefits. The student must maintain a 2.0 GPA while using the Veteran Tuition Scholarship, must be degree or certificate seeking and must have a FAFSA on file.
The Veteran will apply for this scholarship with the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Office may request additional information such as but not limited to proof of Veteran status, prior usage of VA Educational Benefits, Joint Services Transcript and current FAFSA.

Disability Access Services provides accommodations and services to students with documented disabilities who are currently enrolled at Rend Lake College.
