The RLCF Scholarship Application
January 1 - August 28 for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 academic year
Be sure to have the application submitted by March 1 for priority awarding.
Who can apply?
- Incoming Freshmen
- Current RLC students
- Full-time and Part-time students can qualify for scholarships
Why apply?
- 275+ Scholarships totaling over $300,000 are available!
- ONE Application including ability to:
- Request transcript
- Request 2 letters of recommendation
How to apply?
- Complete 2026-2027 FAFSA
- FAFSA opens October 2025
- Click Here

- Sign in or Register account
- Use email you check regularly
- NOT a high school email
- Fill out ONE application
- Once your application is submitted, you are automatically applied to the scholarships you qualify for!

START A SCHOLARSHIP IN HONOR OF SOMEONE SPECIAL
ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP
An Endowment Scholarship creates a lasting asset for the Rend Lake College Foundation, providing on going student support. A minimum of $10,000 within 5 years is required, with annual awards funded by the interest.
ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP
An Annual Scholarship is established through a yearly donation in an amount chosen by the donor. It can be invoiced yearly and directly supports Rend Lake College students.
THE JIM & CAROLE MOUNIER LEGACY SOCIETY:
Join a distinguished group of stewards who have chosen RLC Foundation as a beneficiary in their estate planning.
WAYS TO GIVE
GIFT MATCHING: Many companies match gifts to encourage their employees to make charitable contributions.
IRA ROLLEVER: If you are age 70 1/2 and older and desire an easy way to make a gift to charity and receive tax benefits.
IRA QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS: An IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) is when you are 70 1/2 or older and desire an easy way to make a gift of charity and receive tax benefits.
RECURRING GIVING: Set up recurring, automatic giving. Simply decide the monthly
amount and it will automatically deduct from your selected account.
