Program Outcomes
1. Assess and evaluate signs and symptoms of patient.
2. Provide prompt and efficient emergency medical care.
3. Arrange the orderly transfer of patient care at the receiving medical facility.

5. Operate and maintain the emergency vehicle and its equipment.

1. Communicate patient assessment to appropriate members of the health care team.
2. Develop patient needs assessment and prioritize patient needs.
3. Evaluate and document patient responses.
4. Implement emergency care for patients in compliance with the scope of practices as outlined in the EMS National Standard Curriculum.
5. Participate in assessment by observing, collecting, recording, and reporting objective and subjective data in an accurate and timely manner.
6. Plan care for patients utilizing established patient assessment results

Transfer Information
Students who graduate with an Associate Degree can transfer their credits to a university and pursue a Bachelor's degree and beyond.
Articulation agreements - also known as Transfer Guides - document the pathway between RLC and the university. Historically, RLC has built articulation agreements with midwestern universities. However, students have worked with both institutions to build a pathway.
