The ACCUPLACER is a series of untimed computerized placement tests developed by American College Testing (ACT). Students need to take the ACCUPLACER test if they plan to take a class with a math, English and/or reading prerequisite.

Students are exempt if they scored at least a 19 in English, a 19 in Reading and a 22 in Math on the ACT; or a 480 in English and a 530 in Math on the SAT. ACCUPLACER testing takes place on a daily basis on campus with other testing dates and times scheduled as needed. Test scores are valid for three years. Students are allowed to take the ACCUPLACER test a maximum of two times after the beginning of their senior year in high school.

The ACCUPLACER is FREE.
