STARS (Student Transfer and Retention Support) is a federally funded TRIO program committed to the success of first-generation, low-income and/or scholars with disabilities.
What is TRiO?
TRIO Programs are federal outreach and student services programs.
These programs are designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRiO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs.TRIO Programs are federal outreach and student services programs.

Neither parent/guardian has a four-year college degree
Financial Need
Receive the federal Pell Grant
