Adjunct Instructor - Arts & Sciences Division

Rend Lake College seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor in the Arts & Sciences Division for the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters and beyond. Instructors will be responsible for teaching in a traditional classroom format. Day  sections available. All classes are part-time, non-tenure-track positions. 

Classes at the RLC Main Campus in Ina:

  •             Fall 2024 and beyond

                        Math – Day and Evening sections available

                        Philosophy – Evening section at the Pinckneyville Murphy-Wall campus available

            Spring 2025 and beyond

                        Art – Day and Evening sections available

                        Engineering Graphics – Day and Evening sections available

                        English – Day and Evening sections available

                        Psychology – Day section at the Pinckneyville Murphy-Wall campus available

                        Health – Evening sections available  

                        Spanish -- Day and Evening sections available 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution required. 
  • Community College teaching experience preferred.
  • All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process. 
SALARY & BENEFITS
  • $33/hour for beginning instructors.
  • Free tuition for employee after four semesters
