About This Position
Rend Lake College seeks a part-time Communications 1101 Instructor. This class will meet one night per week at the Southern Illinois Manufacturing Academy in Mt. Vernon. The start time is flexible but would be between 3pm and 6pm. The course will start January 12, 2026, and will run until May 14, 2026.
All classes are part-time, non-tenure-track positions.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in communications or in a related field from an accredited institution required.
- Community College teaching experience preferred.
- All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
Salary & Benefits
- $36/hour for beginning instructors.
- Free tuition for employee after four semesters
