About This Position
Rend Lake College seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor in the Arts & Sciences Division for the Spring 2025 semester and beyond. Instructors will be responsible for teaching in a traditional classroom format. Day sections available. All classes are part-time, non-tenure-track positions.
Classes at the RLC Main Campus in Ina and the Murphy-Wall campus in Pinckneyville:
Spring 2025 semester
ART 1101 – day and evening courses
COMM 1101 – day and evening courses @ the Murphy Wall campus
ENGL 1101 51 – Tuesday evenings
MATH – day and evening courses
PSYC 2101 HP – Monday – Wednesday – Friday from 2 – 3 pm @ the Murphy Wall campus
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution required.
- Community College teaching experience preferred.
- All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process
Salary & Benefits
- $36/hour for beginning instructors.
- Free tuition for employee after four semesters
