Cleaning Specialist (Level 1)

Position Summary
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal direct supervision, able to lead others on job sites, and able to solve problems to create successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Trash removal
- Dusting
- Clean and restock restrooms
- Clean break rooms, offices, and conference rooms
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum floors
- Window washing
- Other duties as assigned
Specific duties may vary depending on the list of specifications required by the client at each location.
Pay
$15.00–$18.00 per hour
Path to Promotion
Level 2 Cleaning Specialist → Field Supervisor → Area Manager
Benefits
- Paid Time Off (PTO): After 90 days, earn 3 hours. Accrue 3 hours per month for a maximum of 12 hours per year.
Training
Garner Cleaning Service will train the employee in guidelines, procedures, and the proper use of chemicals and equipment during initial training and on an ongoing basis. Employees are expected to follow these guidelines and procedures as outlined.
Other Requirements
- Reliable vehicle to travel to job sites
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass a criminal background check (client requirement)
- Prior cleaning experience preferred
