About This Position
Rend Lake College seeks a part-time professional Industrial Electronics & Maintenance Instructor to teach classes in the Applied Science and Technology Division. The successful candidate must be capable of teaching Basic Electricity, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and potential other courses related to the field. Classes may vary day and night schedule on the Southern Illinois Manufacturing Academy (SIMA) campus in Mt. Vernon. // Part-time, nontenure-track position
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Content and/or Community College teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
Salary & Benefits
- $36 per contact hour for first-time instructors.
- Free tuition for employee after four semesters
