Industrial Electronics & Maintenance Instructor (Full-Time)

About This Position

 

Rend Lake College seeks a full-time Industrial Electronics & Maintenance Instructor to teach classes and workshops for Applied Science and Technology Division. Duties will include providing in-class, as well as hands-on lab instruction, industry training and workshops, maintaining records, rosters, and student files, and other duties as assigned. Primary location will be at the Southern Illinois Manufacturing Academy in Mt. Vernon, IL.

This is a 50-week industrial contract, tenure-track position.  

Qualifications
    • Associate's Degree in related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 2,000 hours of work experience required.
    • Content and/or Community College teaching and/or industry training experience preferred.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
    • All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process. 

Salary & Benefits
    • $65,000 - $72,000, or commensurate with experience
    • Full benefits that include health insurance, life insurance, retirement and paid-time off.
