About This Position
Rend Lake College is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic part-time Nail Technology Instructor to join its Cosmetology program. The successful candidate will help prepare students for careers in the nail tech industry through classroom instruction, clinical supervision, and hands-on learning experiences. Duties will include:
- Instruction (lecture and clinical demonstration).
- Supervising clinical lab instruction.
- Maintaining student and state-required records.
- Assisting with retail operation.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Valid license as a Cosmetology Instructor from the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation and must satisfy all other state regulation requirements.
- 2,000 hours, or more, of industry experience required.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: $36 per hour
