INA, Ill. (May 21, 2025) — Rend Lake College held a pinning ceremony on May 15 to celebrate over 20 students who successfully completed the Radiologic Technology program.

The ceremony featured a prayer, led by Lili Toms, and a speech from the class speaker, Cheyenne Hess, followed by the presentation of pins by the radiologic technology program faculty: Holly Heisner, Racheal Nelson and Garrik McConnell. To close the ceremony, Kaitlin Henderson led the Class of 2025 in the Radiologic Technologist Pledge.

The Most Improved Radiologic Technologist Student award is given to a student who has shown significant growth and development in their skills, knowledge and professional demeanor throughout the academic year. The student that received this award is Halle Hamm.

The Most Outstanding Radiologic Technologist Student award honors a student who has demonstrated exceptional skill, academic excellence, professionalism and leadership throughout the radiologic technology program. This award was given to Cheyenne Hess, who exemplifies the highest standards of the profession in all aspects of her training.

Lambda Nu (LN) members were also recognized at the ceremony. LN is a national honor society for the radiologic and imaging sciences.
