Career Connections fair introduces students to local job opportunities

March 28, 2022

INA, IL (March 28, 2022) -- Area eighth grade students got their first glimpse into what their future journey could look like during the Career Connections fair at Rend Lake College.

The event, which was held Thursday, March 24 in the REC, operated like a speed dating round, where students visited booths from the employers and learned more about their potential careers for a predetermined time. From climbing into the cockpit to visually welding a piece of metalwork, there were several career fields represented during the unique career fair.
