INA, IL (Dec. 10, 2021) -- Di Winson of Benton was shooting with her Nikon near the Rend Lake College Theater when she happened upon what she described as two "photogenic deer."
That moment she snapped snagged her the Grand Prize in the RLC Photography Contest.
RLC held a campus photography contest throughout November, where budding photographers were welcomed to shoot their best shots and submit them in for a prize. Winson said she felt lucky to be in the right place at the right time for this photo opportunity.
"I always like to take pictures around here because there is a lot of wildlife," Winson said.

Other winners in the contest were Kaylee Lemons for Abstract, Chloe Mays for People and Arika Wheeler for Nature.
