"Flummoxed Fairytales" charms 1400 grade schoolers

May 7, 2019

FFT 100INA, Ill. (May 7, 2018) - Rend Lake College's "Flummoxed Fairytales" entertained nearly 1,400 grade school students last week for the annual production of common fairy tale stories with a twist. The show, written and directed by RLC Theatre Professor Tracey Webb, takes traditional fairy tales such as Cinderella, Rapunzel and Snow White, and changes them slightly - most with a moral for the audience to take away. The show is performed four times over two days by RLC students and is free to local grade school children.

"These kids have worked so hard and I’m very proud of them. Once again, our very talented RLC students delivered four separate, great performances last week and did a great job entertaining all our area grade school children," said Webb.
