INA, Ill. (Sep. 14, 2023)—Join us October 14 and 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to learn the safety of food sanitation with Chef Jeff Fairbanks.
Learn to identify the causes of food-borne illness, identify and apply correct procedures for cleaning and sanitizing, recognize problems and potential solutions associated with facility, equipment and layout, and understand the Illinois code related to food service establishments. Successful completion of this course prepares you to take the ServSafe exam for Management and Sanitation Training. The exam is given at the end of the second session. Students must bring Photo ID to class.
Costs $180; includes the test voucher and course. Students must purchase own textbook.
Takes place at Rend lake College Ina Campus, Student Center: Room 103.
