MT. VERNON, Ill. (May 18, 2016) - Improve on your golf game, or start learning the fundamentals this summer with Rend Lake College’s Danielle Kaufman. Individuals of all ages are invited to learn from the PGA Apprentice and Teaching Professional on RLC’s Cherry Creek Driving Range, located north of the RLC Golf Outlet.
There will be four clinics offered in June and July. In the Junior, High School, and Ladies clinics, golfers will learn the fundamental mechanics of a full swing, short game, putting, rules, and etiquette. In the Beginners Clinic, participants who are new to the game or are still acquiring basic principles will practice with guidance by Kaufman.
The Junior Clinic, for those between the ages of 5 and 13, will be held from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 and June 28. High Schoolers, or those between the ages of 14 and 18, will meet from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 19. Both the Junior and High School clinics cost $40 per golfer.
Beginners will meet from 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25 and the Ladies Clinic will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 5. Both the Beginners and Ladies clinics will cost $30 per golfer.
