INA, Ill. (March 16, 2026) — The Rend Lake College Foundation is excited to announce a limited opportunity to build permanent scholarship support for RLC students. Through the High 5 Scholarship Match, donors establish or strengthen endowed scholarships while RLCF amplifies their generosity with matching funds, creating long-term impact that lasts for generations.
How the HIGH 5 Works
The High 5 Scholarship Campaign is a partnership between donors and the Rend Lake College Foundation. The Foundation is offering 25 matching opportunities from a total match pool of $125,000. When all 25 matches are utilized, the campaign will generate $375,000 in lasting scholarship impact.
"The High 5 campaign is more than a fundraiser," said RLCF Director Amy Newell. "It's an invitation—an invitation to create opportunity that lasts beyond a lifetime, and an invitation to leave a legacy one student at a time."
New Endowment Donors
- A donor makes a minimum commitment of $15,000 to establish a new endowed scholarship.
- The RLC Foundation matches that generosity with $5,000.
- This creates a $20,000 permanent scholarship endowment.
Existing Endowment Donors
- Donors with an established scholarship endowment can make an additional gift of $5,000.
- The Foundation provides a $5,000 High 5 match.
- This increases the minimum total endowment to $20,000.
The result of either path is a permanent investment that awards a $1,000 scholarship to a Rend Lake College student every single year forever.

"High 5 is such a powerful opportunity because it isn't a one time gift, it's a permanent investment."
