INA, Ill. (March 5, 2024) — Rend Lake College, Withers Broadcasting Companies, Dana Communications Corp., and WSIL TV3 are excited to announce the annual Job Search Party from 9 AM – Noon Thursday, March 28, at the RLC Event Center in Ina. This free event is a great opportunity for job seekers to get in front of more employers than ever before.
Dozens of area businesses register each year to attend the event. A few of the businesses that have signed up already are: Walgreens (Retail), Continental Tire, SSM Health, Banterra Bank, Rend Lake College, Walkers Bluff Casino & Resort, Spero Family Services, WLC Management Firm, LLC, Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center, IL Dept of Employment Security.
This means job seekers will have plenty of opportunities to find their perfect career match! Attendees should dress in interview attire and bring along plenty of copies of an updated résumé.
“We are excited to be hosting this event again this year," said Heather Adams, Grant Management Director, who is coordinating the event. "It's a great way for job seekers from all over Southern Illinois to make connections with potential employers and explore new career opportunities."
Job searchers can expect a wide variety of potential employers from different industries such as healthcare, education, retail, hospitality, manufacturing and more.
The Job Search Party is a great opportunity for those who are looking for employment or wanting to change careers. So come prepared with questions and be ready to have meaningful conversations!
