INA, Ill. (March 27, 2025) — Rend Lake College's Sweet 16 Pave the Way competition kicks off today as 16 local sponsors hope their team advances in the NCAA DI Men's Basketball Tournament.
Each sponsor purchased a commemorative paver to be placed outside the new Banterra Sports Complex, currently in the beginning phases of construction at RLC's Ina Campus. The sponsors were randomly matched with a Sweet 16 team. The sponsor who drew the eventual national champion will be refunded their $500 donation and gets a special mark etched on their paver.
