McGee named outstanding CNA of the year (STANDALONE PHOTO)

INA, Ill. (Oct. 16, 2018) - Shelly McGee, Right, of Mt. Vernon was named the 2018 Outstanding CNA of the Year during Rend Lake College's annual CNA conference. McGee currently works at Mt. Vernon Healthcare Center and has been a CNA for more than 28 years. McGee posed with Lynn Salesberry, RLC Nuring Instructor. In her nomination letter, McGee’s colleague describe her as “an exceptional CNA for many reasons… [she is] very loyal to her peers and facility, a hard worker, always friendly and confident, always assists her peers without them needing to ask, is an excellent patient advocate, excellent role model for new, old and student CNAs.”
