Rend Lake College’s Concert Band is looking for talented musicians on campus and in the community to join the ranks for the Fall 2021 semester. The ensemble is tuition free and registering now.

The Concert Band (MUSI 1161) under the direction of RLC music professor Sara Alstat-Sanders, provides a playing outlet for experienced band musicians and includes at least one concert per semester. The band rehearses on Mondays from 5 to 6:50 p.m.

The RLC Concert Band has performed on campus several times in the past, including the RLC Halloween, Christmas and Spring Concerts and the RLC Annual Foundation Dinner.

Participants must be over the age of 16, and one credit hour can be earned. It is open to all majors and those in the community. For more information about the Concert Band, contact Sara Alstat at 618-437-5321, Ext. 1817 or alstats@rlc.edu.
